For working temperature, Smco magnets can be applied  in 250-350 ºC envionment while neodymium magnets under 240 ºC.   Smco magnets are strong permanent magnet alloy of Samarium and Cobalt, their magnetism range are from 16 MGOE to 33 MGOE. SmCo5 magnets have the magnetism range of 16 MGOE - 25  MGOE, reversible temperature coefficient is about 0.05% /ºC Sm2Co17   magnets have a  magnetism range from 20 MGOE to 32MGOE ,reversible temperature coefficient rate is 0.03%, usually applied as motors  or  meters  and be very good for the high temperature encionment  Since it reduces a lot of  expensive Samarium , so the price of Sm2Co17 is much cheaper than SmCo5.
